Dear Lucas --
The Transit Workers of TWU Local 100 were nothing less than heroic during Hurricane Sandy. They made smart decisions to prepare for the storm and then worked quickly to restore the majority of public transportation in less than 3 days. In addition to this they were leaders in the relief efforts throughout the City.
I was honored to work alongside them in Sandy relief efforts, and I am truly grateful to receive their endorsement of my candidacy for City Council. I look forward to working with TWU Local 100 to promote public transportation for my community and the city at large.
