GOT GRANTS

You know your neighborhood best. And you have the ideas to improve it. Citizens Committee can help. We award micro-grants to resident-led groups in low-income neighborhoods to carry out community improvement projects.

From East Tremont in the Bronx to West Brighton on Staten Island, the groups we support are carrying out projects as varied as community gardening, theater and fine arts, nutrition awareness, composting, beautification, tenant organizing, youth education, physical fitness, public safety, and more!

We do not award grants to individuals, agencies with paid staff, religious, fraternal, or partisan organizations. Review our grant guidelines.

Have a great idea for a community improvement project? Apply for our Community Grants! Deadline: January 31, 2013.
