HURRICANE IRENE WAS HERE
When Hurricane
Irene hit last year, New Yorkers were reminded that hurricanes can and do
affect the City. A major hurricane could put some parts of New York City
under as much as 30 feet of water. Find out if your home is located in a
hurricane evacuation zone. Make sure that your Go Bag and emergency supply
kit are fully stocked with items you may need in a hurricane, including
water, canned food, and a flashlight.
