TILL DEATH?

bell_nyreblog_com.jpgWhile married, Gregory Renga's wife received a $4.8 million settlement in a medical malpractice case. When she later filed for divorce, the Nassau County Supreme Court was of the view the money wasn't marital property and that Gregory wasn't entitled to a piece.

But because the proceeds had been deposited into a joint account and there was an unresolved question as to whether the cash belonged to both spouses, the Appellate Division, Second Department, sent the case back so that Angela would have an opportunity to establish that she hadn't intended to give her husband an interest in the money.

Who will Renga it in?
