My friend Mark Murphy is running for Congress in New York's 11th Congressional District, and I hope you'll join me in supporting him. Mark Murphy's race against a Republican incumbent right in our backyard is shaping up to be one of the most competitive in the country. Recent polling has shown that Mark has a clear path to victory. When both positive and negative positions are described by both candidates Mark leads Grimm by 5%. Additionally, President Obama is leading Mitt Romney in NY-11 by at least 2%. As a result, Democrats are excited about Murphy's chances and see his victory as a must win in taking back the House.
Mark is a staunch advocate for women's rights and reproductive choice, and I know he will make New Yorkers proud as a Member of Congress.
