This couldn't wait. Claire McCaskill's Republican Senate opponent, Todd Akin, justified his anti-choice views by explaining that victims of "legitimate rape" don't get pregnant. He commented, "If it's legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down."
This is outrageous and offensive. This kind of dangerous ignorance and attack on women has no place in the Senate.
Tell Todd Akin his anti-choice and anti-women views are dangerous and unwanted in the Senate.
Now more than ever we need to fight to send Claire back to Congress so she can stand up for women and families.
