This program will provide an overview of the unique legal challenges facing Unaccompanied Immigrant Children, as well as tools for advocating on their behalf. Topics covered will include detention and release from detention, common forms of legal relief (including Special Immigrant Juvenile Status and Asylum), bond hearings, and the intersection of criminal and immigration law in children's cases.
