Want to know what history looks like? Just take a look in the mirror.
In just over three months, we've seen the start to an incredible year, and we have you to thank.
It's you who helped us add another pro-choice Democratic woman to Congress with Suzanne Bonamici's victory in Oregon. And it's you who helped Tammy Duckworth and Cheri Bustos score huge primary wins in Illinois.
We still have so much more history to make for women in 2012. But first, let's look back at the how we got where we are today.

We knew before it even started that we had a chance to make this an historic year. What we couldn't have guessed was how determined Republicans would be to attack women at every turn. We couldn't have predicted an all-male Congressional panel on birth control, or Rush Limbaugh's relentless attacks on Sandra Fluke, or the ridiculous anti-choice laws GOP-controlled state legislatures are determined to ram through.
But we did know is that we could count on your support and see big victories and big accomplishments -- like the more than 1,000 women already trained by our Political Opportunity Program to run for state and local office, or the way you stood up when congressional Republicans allowed only men to testify on birth control.
