STOP SCOTT WALKER!

email-header_emily_nyreblog_com_.gifDear Lucas,

Last week, with just a stroke of his pen, Governor Scott Walker wiped out equal pay for women in Wisconsin. We've got the woman to replace him, but she has less than four weeks to clear her first big hurdle.

We have the chance to replace Governor Walker with a true champion for women who will stand up for working families in Wisconsin. Kathleen Falk is the pro-choice Democratic woman for the job, but she faces a crowded primary on May 8, and needs our help right now.

If you want a strong woman leading Wisconsin, Kathleen needs your immediate support to keep her message on the air.

Click here to contribute to help Kathleen win her primary and then beat Scott Walker. Remember, 100% of your contribution will go directly to her campaign.

Scott Walker has taken the Republican War on Women and made it his personal crusade in Wisconsin. He signed a bill eliminating protections that ensured women received equal pay for equal work. He attacked public sector unions, going after professions like nurses and teachers that are overwhelmingly filled by women. And he's done incredible damage to women's rights, launching all-out attacks on choice and women's health care.

It's going to take a strong progressive to undo the damage he's done. And Kathleen Falk is the woman for the job. She has a great record fighting for women and their families as Dane County Executive. She has the experience and the will to win.

But don't think this will be easy. She faces a tough primary race and then has to beat Scott Walker's well-funded campaign. Walker has a ton of support from Tea Party extremists, and the Koch brothers and their allies are flooding Wisconsin with all the money he needs.

Kathleen needs your help, right now, to make sure she has the resources to win both a primary and a general election in just a few short weeks.

Click here right now to contribute to Kathleen Falk's campaign to take Wisconsin back for working families.

Make no mistake: this race is huge. It is one of a few opportunities we have to elect a Democratic woman governor in 2012. And it will deliver a knockout blow to the Tea Party, taking out one of their biggest heroes. Thanks so much for all your help.

Sincerely,

Jonathan Parker
