New York Youth Works sets aside $25 million dollars in tax credits for businesses that hire unemployed and disadvantaged young people. Under NY Youth Works, businesses may get up to a $3,000 wage subsidy, as well as tax credits of up to $1,000 for businesses that retain young people for at least six months.
