NYC Rules Updates ~ April 23, 2012
The following NYC Rules update includes (1) all City agency proposed rules that remain open for written public comment; (2) adopted rules that took effect during the previous week; and (3) adopted rules soon taking effect.

Proposed Rules Open for Written Public Comment
- Medallion Sales (TLC)--Written comments must be submitted by April 23.
- Rules Relating to Carbon Monoxide Detecting Devices and Systems in Multiple Dwellings and Private Dwellings (HPD)--Written comments must be submitted by April 24.
- Sale of Product (Agency Surplus) by City Agencies (DCAS)--Written comments must be submitted by May 4.
- Horsepower Specifications for Hybrid Electric Taxicabs (TLC)--Written comments must be submitted by May 10.
Adopted Rules That Took Effect During the Previous Week
- Ads on Receipts (TLC)--Rule took effect April 19.
- Ballfield Rules (DPR)--Rule took effect April 20.
- Inspection fee for non-exempt tow trucks (DCA)--Rule takes effect April 27.
- Final Revocable Land Use Permit Rules (DOT)--Rule takes effect April 30.
- Directed Accident Response Program Participation Fee (DCA)--Rule takes effect May 10.
- ECB's Health Code and Miscellaneous Food Vendor Violations Penalty Schedule (OATH/ECB)--Rule takes effect May 11.
- Amendment to Special Inspectors and Special Inspection Agencies (DOB)--Rule takes effect May 13.
