BP MARKOWITZ HONORS KINGS AND QUEENS OF CHESS AT I.S. 318 IN WILLIAMSBURG

On Tuesday, April 24, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz paid a return visit to I.S. 318 in Williamsburg to once again congratulate the school's chess team, which became the first middle school team ever to win the United States Chess Federation's national high school championship, held in Minneapolis.  

The legendary I.S. 318 team is also featured in the documentary "Brooklyn Castle."
