Dear Lucas,
It's clear now - we're all witnessing a coordinated, national attack on women.
Federal and state legislators around the country are working furiously to put more barriers between women and their reproductive rights. Gov. Scott Walker and state legislators in Wisconsin just pushed through a repeal of that state's Equal Pay Enforcement Act. Congress just allowed the federal Violence Against Women Act to lapse. Executives at the Komen Foundation tried to defund cancer screenings, just because they were run by Planned Parenthood.
We need to fight back.
Join me and four featured speakers for The War on Women: An Evening of Basic Training . Learn how this happened, and how you can fight back from:

New Yorkers are overwhelmingly pro-woman and pro-choice - but our state legislature is not. Pro-woman initiatives in Albany - from my bill to help pregnant women stay in the workplace and keep their jobs to the Reproductive Health Act - have been shut down and locked away by the Senate's Republican majority.
If this is a national war on women, then let's make New York the beachhead for a counteroffensive. Let's fight back together. Hope to see you on the 24th!
