Mark your calendars! Construction Safety Week 2012 will be the week of April 23 this year.
This year, the Department will kick off the week with the 2012 Build Safe/Live Safe Conference, where Department engineers, architects and construction experts will discuss new safety measures, review recent industry trends and outline a vision for the future of construction operations in the City. There will be multiple courses for professional credit at the conference, as well as informational booths to provide guidance on new initiatives and regulations.
The conference will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, April 23, at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square. Stay tuned for a list of seminars and courses.
