Constitution Day and Citizenship Day
Federal law requires the head of each federal agency or department and all federally-funded schools to offer each employee and student training on the U.S. Constitution . This training occurs on Constitution Day , which is September 17 (to coincide with the signing of the Constitution on September 17, 1787.) Should September 17 fall on a weekend, the training may occur the week before or after. Constitution Week is September 17 through 23.
