Your support helped David wage a powerful campaign to strengthen Medicare, create jobs and protect the middle class.
Special elections are always a challenge -- they are low turnout, high intensity races. You can rest assure that the outcome in NY-09 does not reflect what will happen in November 2012 when incumbent Republicans are up for reelection.
Courageous Democratic challengers will hold Republican incumbents accountable for their votes to end Medicare and cut Social Security while protecting tax loopholes for big corporations and the ultra wealthy.
