FEMA ADDS BROOKLYN TO DISASTER LIST

BP MARKOWITZ APPLAUDS FEMA PUBLIC ASSISTANCE DECLARATION FOR BROOKLYN 

"FEMA's decision to add Brooklyn to the list of counties eligible for public assistance for such things as debris removal, emergency protective actions and the repair or replacement of disaster-damaged facilities is certainly the outcome we were hoping for. I applaud Governor Cuomo, Mayor Bloomberg, our Congressional delegation, the City Office of Emergency Management and FEMA for listening to our concerns and acting quickly to include Kings County. In these difficult economic times, the assistance will be most welcome."
