They're at it again. The DC/Beacon Hill political establishment is working hard to defeat Scott and his message of job creation, lower taxes, and reduced spending. Just yesterday, the League of Conservation Voters, a partisan organization whose goal is electing liberal Democratic candidates, launched a nearly $2 million television ad blitz once again attacking and distorting Scott's pro-jobs record.
All told, left-wing special interests have already spent more than $3 million in negative ads attacking Scott this year alone. That goes to show that next to only the presidency itself, no race in the country is more important to them than this Senate race and taking back the so-called "Kennedy seat."
The reason is clear. In Harvard Professor Elizabeth Warren - who said Tuesday she "provided the intellectual foundation" for the Occupy Wall Street movement - the radical left has found one of their own, and they are putting their money where their mouth is, donating over $3.3 million to her in just the first few weeks of her campaign.
Next week, Professor Warren is rubbing elbows and raising big dollars at an elite Hollywood fundraiser hosted by Barbra Streisand, Norman Lear and other Tinseltown bigwigs.
