Dear Lucas,
Since we launched Occupy the Boardroom just over a week ago, more than 6,000 people have shared a story with the 1% and the world.
Here's what NYCC member Mary Grace had to say--
"How are we supposed to survive?
I'd like to make it known, that the average homeowner, who is not rolling in dough, cannot get assistance in lowering a mortgage even though the main breadwinner is on disability and must spend half of what is received on a mortgage. This leaves very little to live on for the rest of the month, including medications and food. Let us not forget the expense of LIPA and phone services. Could any of these banks live like this?"
