Dear Trustees, Faculty, Students, and Staff:
We wanted you to be among the first to know that we have asked the court to dismiss as without merit a lawsuit claiming prospective students were lured into enrolling at New York Law School by allegedly misleading information about post-graduation employment.
We work hard to communicate the realities of the legal job market to prospective students, and we provide one of the most student-centric and innovative legal-education programs in the country.
One of our own colleagues, Michael Volpe of Venable LLP, Class of 1990, is the lead attorney representing the school. Click here for more information, including our news release announcing the motion to dismiss: www.nyls.edu/news_and_events/motion_to_dismiss_lawsuit .
