National Safe Schools Week
National Safe Schools week, October 17, 2011, to October 22, 2011, empowers young people to end school violence.
In recognition of this week, the National Student Design Project has set up a contest for High School and Middle School students. Students are asked to submit fictitious or factual writings that encourage kids to speak up against school violence.
