I wanted to pass along this article in yesterday's New York Times about Bill's just-launched investigation into the city's failure to respond to requests under the Freedom of Information Law.

As Public Advocate, Bill has made no secret of his views that our government must be held to a higher standard of transparency and accountability.  This inquiry speaks to that.
