The Downtown Alliance is giving away 4,000 geraniums at part of its "Green Around Downtown" program. Come volunteer, or just to get a plotted plant to bring back to your office or home. Co-sponsored by Con Edison, the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation, Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer, New York City Council Member Margaret Chin, Community Board 1, Whole Foods and Crumbs.
