NYC Rules Updates ~ Week Ending November 18, 2011
The following NYC Rules update includes (1) all City agency proposed rules that remain open for written public comment; (2) adopted rules that took effect during the previous week; and (3) adopted rules soon taking effect.

Proposed Rules Open for Written Public Comment
- **Issuance of Revocable Land Use Permits for the Occupation or Use of City Property (DEP)--Written comments must be submitted by January 13.
- **Parking Violations (DOF)--Written comments must be submitted by December 19.
- **Accessible Dispatch Taxi Rule (TLC)--Written comments must be submitted by December 15.
- Street Activity Permit Requirements and Processes (SAPO)--Written comments must be submitted by December 1.
- Exemption from Fire Department Connection Requirements (DOB)--Written comments must be submitted by December 2.
- Amendment of Violation Classifications (Electrical Code) (DOB)--Written comments must be submitted by December 1.
Adopted Rules That Took Effect During the Previous Week
- Construction Activity, Restoration and Excavation Requirements (DOT)--Rule took effect November 15.
- Amendment of Violation Classifications (Expired Permits) (DOB)--Rule takes effect December 10.
- Theater Subdistrict Fund Contributions (DCP)--Rule takes effect December 10.
- Sewer Control Rules Penalty Schedule (OATH/ECB)--Rule takes effect December 9.
- Brownfield Grants (OER)--Rule takes effect November 30.
- Accessible Taxicab Specifications (TLC)--Rule takes effect November 26.
