The political landscape for Latinos is changing rapidly, and special interest groups are constantly scrambling to stay on top. The Latino community at large in many cases has not been able to compete as it should due to the lack of training, resources and the networks that allow us to stay competitive. Next year is our most important year in electoral politics.
During this LLI Academy, we will planning for organizing training sessions in your neighborhood. Therefore, we need your participation in order to tailor the training specifically for your community, which we will do completely free of charge.
We also want try something completely innovative on this day. The idea is to survey the main issues in your local community to transform it into a Latino Agenda for New York and to bring to your community the trainings that you need that are necessary to achieve the political and organizational solutions to resolve those issues. We will also do this free of charge. Therefore, we are waiting to hear your concerns on November 5. So come prepared!
