Throughout the year, I make my home in two very different places: Santa Barbara, California and Livingston, Montana. Those are two communities that don't have much in common on the surface, but they're both affected by childhood hunger. It's important to remember that no matter who you are and where you live, there's a kid near you whose future is being compromised because he can't get enough to eat at home.
In a lot of ways, November and December are make-or-break months for child hunger. Millions of children won't get to experience the holidays the way many of us do, gathered around the dinner table in celebration and thanks.
This time of year it's critical for folks like us to step up to help these kids. That's why our No Kid Hungry Partners have agreed to match, dollar for dollar, any donation you make--up to $500,000 through December 31. That means that your donation of $100 becomes $200, $250 becomes $500, or $500 becomes $1,000.
