Linda C. Coughlin, Principal, Linkage, Inc.

Panelists will provide suggestions on "Avoiding the Funk" while in transition.  They will address issues of lawyers working from home or job searching from home, including:

  • Loss of community
  • Feeling of loneliness and alienation
  • Procrastination
  • Lack of collaboration
  • Feelings of exasperation and "the world conspiring against you"
  • Understanding finding the job, client, etc. isn't in your control- all you can do is position yourself, apply, network, etc- the universe does the rest

This program is part of the New York State Bar Association Committee on Lawyers in Transition series of free, live webcasts on Career Development to help lawyers better manage their careers during this tough economy. The December program is also sponsored by the Lawyer Assistance Committee .
