On Thursday, November 17th, we will be holding the first session of this years Senior Roundtable. The theme of this year's program is Planning Ahead: Boomers & Seniors Living in the 21st Century. This will be a five-part monthly program.
During this first session, The Graying of the American Workforce, we will address age discrimination, reinventing yourself to re-enter the workforce, and "giving back" in the second half of life. We will be meeting on Thursday, November 17th, 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m., at Lenox Hill Neighborhood House, 331 East 70th Street (a flier is attached.)
We are certain that you know someone, if not yourself, who is over 55 and trying to re-enter the workforce. The first session of our Senior Roundtable this year will address this issue. We hope you will pass this on to your own friends, clients, or constituents. Please join Senator Liz Krueger, Mariko Hirose, Esq. of Outten & Golden LLP, Althea Erickson of the Freelancers Union, and Mary Bleiberg of RESERVE for a bagel, a cup of coffee, and an opportunity to pick up valuable advice on staying in or re-entering the workforce.
If you have any questions about this program, please contact Dore Mann, doremann@gmail.com , 212-490-9535. An RSVP is necessary for this program.
Warmest regards,
Alice
p.s.
