As we approach the end of the Governor's first year in office, we wanted to make sure all of our friends are kept aware of the progress we've made and our goals for the future. That's why we are introducing a new, quarterly "Report to New York."
In this first issue, you'll read about highlights such as:
- Our historic legislative session, including the enactment of an on-time budget with no new taxes, a first ever property tax cap and the Marriage Equality Act.
- The unprecedented $4.4 billion dollar private investment being made in New York by five high tech companies, securing our states leadership role in the next generation of chip technology.
- The very successful "Labor for your Neighbor" campaign that followed the hurricane and flood damage that ravaged parts of our state this summer.
