On Thursday, May 19, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz and Downtown Brooklyn Partnership President Joe Chan will unveil the Downtown Brooklyn Commons Project Exhibit at Brooklyn Borough Hall. On display will be architectural models, innovative plans and recommendations, created by talented students from City College, New York City College of Technology, Polytechnic University of NYU and Pratt Institute.
The project's goal is to seek ways to create meaningful connections between Downtown Brooklyn's existing open spaces and the new Brooklyn Bridge Park and make our existing parklands a destination for visitors and more livable for residents and areas employees.
