I want to take a moment to tell you about a unique event next month featuring some of the nation's greatest leaders in the fight for LGBT equality.
On Monday, June 6th, Leader Nancy Pelosi, Democratic Whip Steny H. Hoyer, and Chairman Steve Israel will join Congressman Barney Frank, Congressman Jerry Nadler, Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney, Congressman Joe Crowley, Congressman David Cicilline, and me for an event celebrating the openly gay members of the House Democratic Caucus.
This is the first time these leaders have come together in New York to discuss the fight for LGBT equality, and celebrate the achievements of our movement over the past several years.
The event is being hosted by Mitch Draizin & Philippe Brugere-Trelat, Sean Eldridge & Chris Hughes, and Charles Myers and promises to be a once in a lifetime event.

In addition, there is still time to join the host committee, which requires one to donate or raise $5,000/person or $10,000 per couple, and includes a access to the VIP lunch and cocktail reception.
