They're at it again.
John Boehner and his crew are pushing their radical anti-woman agenda hard. But there's one unstoppable force standing in their way: the pro-choice Democratic women senators you've helped elect.
Our women senators are the firewall blocking the barbaric GOP budget, repeal of health care reform, and the all-out war on reproductive rights.
And what a firewall! We've seen them in action during this contentious budget debate when, one by one, Democratic women senators marched to the well to say: no way, no how, not on our watch.
But the GOP has set its sights on taking the Senate in 2012. And six EMILY's List senators are on the ballot. That's right -- we could lose half our elected women senators in 2012!
Republicans are already replenishing their war chests to try and take back the Senate, and it's up to us to make sure our women have the resources necessary to fight them every step of the way.
In 2010, Republicans came after Barbara Boxer, Patty Murray, Kirsten Gillibrand, and Barbara Mikulski -- but strong support from EMILY's List members helped them overcome their GOP challengers.
Now we must do the same in 2012 for Dianne Feinstein, Claire McCaskill, Amy Klobuchar, Kirsten Gillibrand, Maria Cantwell, and Debbie Stabenow. But to match the Republicans, we need to get started right away.
Our political team is already training staff and helping these campaigns get going. Now we need your help to provide the early support that's so vital to victory.
Over the last few months, we've seen just how far Boehner's boys are willing to go. This gang won't be satisfied just undoing recent progress -- they're determined to send women and their families back to the dark ages.
But the right can't win its war on women as long as our pro-choice Democratic senators are standing in their way.
