There's no two ways about it: Republicans are waging an all-out war on women -- and we need to stop them in their tracks.
Rather than creating jobs for Americans, Republicans are pushing a reckless budget to deny women and their families access to critical health care services like cancer screenings, maternity care, and contraception.
EMILY's List women in the Senate have bravely stood up and said "no" -- our champions like Barbara Mikulski, Patty Murray, Barbara Boxer, and others. No to taking away the rights and freedoms of American women, and no to threatening the health of millions of women and their families.
Will you join them in stopping this vicious assault? Today, we are launching the "Stop the War on Women" campaign to make sure Republicans understand that these senators are voicing the outrage of a powerful voting bloc -- and that we'll fight back, hard, against these unprecedented attacks.

The budget is now headed back to the House after being rejected by the Senate. The Republicans are more committed than ever to an extreme agenda that shreds the social safety net American women need to take care of themselves and their children. Basic needs like cancer prevention, maternity coverage, and birth control are at risk.
We must stop this war on women! We need to win for women like Elizabeth of Bellingham, Washington, one of Sen. Patty Murray's constituents. Without Elizabeth's local Planned Parenthood, she wouldn't have access to screenings that could catch the cervical or breast cancer that runs in her family.
In this battle, we have strong allies: from Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, who shamed House Republicans for "undermining the health, well-being and future of our women, and our children, and America's prosperity," to the hundreds of thousands who have spoken out and said no, we will not tolerate this war on women.
The GOP is fighting American women at every turn, but we're just not going to stand for it. Fact is, we're going to fight back with everything we've got.
