This symposium will provide training for lawyers who wish to represent children in asylum and special immigrant juvenile proceedings, with a special focus on inspiring lawyers to volunteer to represent these needy children. We will introduce the basic legal concepts and procedures involved in these cases, and will conduct a short mock immigration hearing. CLE credit will be provided.
