On Thursday, March 17, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz will join parents, students, New York Communities for Change, the Coalition for Educational Justice, the New York Charter Parents Association and the Alliance for Quality Education at a Borough Hall rally to call for an end to school budget cuts.

BP Markowitz agrees with parents who have continually expressed their collective frustration regarding increased class sizes, program cuts and teacher layoffs that would occur if budgets are slashed.

At the rally, a plan will be outlined as part of a citywide call to action.
