MARTY MARKOWITZ GOES GREEN

BP MARKOWITZ HOSTS NINTH ANNUAL ST. PATRICK'S DAY BREAKFAST AT A "GREEN" BOROUGH HALL

On Thursday, March 17, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz, head of the Brooklyn chapter of the Loyal League of Yiddish Sons & Daughters of Erin, Brooklyn District Attorney Charles J. (Joe) Hynes and the Honorable Bernard J. Graham hosted the ninth annual St. Patrick's Day Breakfast at Borough Hall.

"I was once again delighted to welcome the esteemed descendents of the 'Emerald Isle' right here in the 'County of Kings,'" said BP Markowitz. "Because if Brooklyn--with its many diverse cultures--is a rainbow, then I think we can all agree that the Irish are Brooklyn's 'pot of gold!"
