Bullying can happen anywhere, and the steps that people can take to prevent or end it are pretty much the same all over. HHS' Health Resources and Services Administration has a campaign called Stop Bullying Now, which offers advice to kids, parents, school officials and others about steps they can take.

Because bullying also happens in Indian Country, the director of HHS' Indian Health Service, Dr. Yvette Roubideau, talked about actions people in Indian communities can take against bullying. She noted one thing parents of a child who has been being bullied can do:

``Check regularly with your child and with the school to see whether the bullying has stopped. If it continues, notify school authorities, and follow up to make sure action was taken.'' (11 seconds)
