For nearly 50 years labor unions have initialized tactics to advance their rights through collective bargaining. This is the most powerful tool for resolving disputes and ensuring that workers have a voice in negotiations on issues that affect them the most like fair wages and sick leave. Yesterday, Assemblymember Weprin spoke at a rally outside of Fox in New York City in support of the Wisconsin workers. He stated that we have our own battle in Albany and what happens in Wisconsin WILL affect us and that we must, "fight together."
