I thought Republicans couldn't get any worse. Boy, was I wrong. They've targeted Medicare and women's rights. They voted to stall repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell.
And don't even get me started on Republican dirty tricks. Texas, Wisconsin and Florida - among other states - recently passed laws that will suppress the Democratic vote. I guess if you can't sell people on your policies (killing Medicare), then you just take away their right to do anything about it (such as sending these Republicans packing).
Then there's this: Outside Republican groups - like the ones run by the Koch Brothers and Karl Rove - have pledged to spend more than $200 million on the 2012 elections. And the Citizens United decision means corporate cash will flow like a fire hose in support of Republican candidates.
