NYC Rules Updates - Week Ending June 3, 2011
The following City rulemaking actions have been promulgated during the week ending June 3. Please visit NYC Rules for more information, and to comment on proposed rules.
- Multiple Dwelling Law/"Loft Law" (New York City Loft Board) -- Written comments must be submitted by July 14, 2011.
- Objections to Charges Filed as Tax Liens under the Housing Maintenance Code (HPD) -- Written comments must be submitted by July 7, 2011.
- No Smoking in Pedestrian Plazas (DOT) -- Written comments must be submitted by July 6, 2011.
- Port Authority Group Rides (TLC) -- Rule takes effect July 1, 2011.
- Fines (TLC) -- Rule takes effect June 30, 2011.
Each year, City agencies publish Regulatory Agendas, outlining the areas in which they plan to promulgate rules during the ensuing fiscal year. These agendas help to give the public early notice of agency regulatory intentions.
