On Wednesday, June 29, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz will join City Council Speaker Christine Quinn, other elected officials, the LGBT community and celebrants of marriage equality in New York at a party at Brooklyn Borough Hall. The evening's festivities will include a champagne toast, wedding cake, refreshments, music and a special announcement by BP Markowitz regarding the first day of legal same-sex marriages in Brooklyn and the State.
