I hope you and your family had a joyful, relaxing and safe holiday. For everyone at Public Citizen, I want to thank you for your activism and financial support throughout 2010.

Here's a short video we made to say thanks and to wish you a happy New Year.

We have so much to do together in 2011.

We'll be ramping up our campaign to overturn the Supreme Court's disastrous Citizens United v. FEC ruling.

We'll be working to make sure the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has real power, and doing all we can to control Wall Street's greed.

We'll be keeping the pressure on Congress to preserve vital health and safety regulations, and fighting to get dangerous drugs off the market.

We'll be challenging failed trade policies, and promoting clean and sustainable energy solutions.

And we'll be standing up to corporate power and its assault on our democracy.

We know you're standing with us.

Congress -- with the new Republican majority in the House and corporate lackeys from both parties -- is back in session starting today.

Let's get to work.
