Public Advocate Bill de Blasio will appear on the FOX News program "Huckabee" tonight to discuss how the opening of a new Wal-Mart store in New York City could undercut our middle class and worsen unemployment.
We all know Wal-Mart provides poverty-level wages and few benefits to its employees, but a recent report by the Public Advocate showed how the nation's largest retailer has actually killed three jobs for every two it has created, and how too often Wal-Mart's aggressive business model results in the closing of the small businesses essential to building the middle class.
