Happy New Year!
While it's still early in the year, I wanted to share this quick note to inform you that in 2011, the LMEC will support a total of 23 Latin events that highlight the best of NYC Latin culture. These events range from film, theater, concerts, conferences, art, and more, and you can view them at http://www.nyc.gov/html/lmec/html/events/events.shtml .
Our second annual 2011 Latin Media and Entertainment Week (LMEW) is October 3-9. This year, the LMEW will have more varied events and will be accepting event submissions for review and consideration. Any organization interested in participating during this week can log onto http://www.nyc.gov/html/lmec/html/lmew/lmew.shtml and complete the form.
