Just 6 percent! That's not right.
Will you sign this petition to JP Morgan Chase, telling them that kicking people out of their homes isn't the way forward?
New York Communities for Change is kicking off a new campaign to urge JP Morgan Chase to change its unfair policies, stop all filed and unfiled foreclosure actions and take more action to protect New Yorkers from foreclosure.
Last week, we were joined at JP Morgan Chase's headquarters by elected officials, clergy, unions and victims of unfair mortgage practices to highlight the financial giant's practices and insist it changes.
And we're just getting started.
Over the next few weeks, we will be taking weekly actions with those same stakeholders -- elected officials, unions, clergy and affected homeowners -- and will be demanding JP Morgan changes its policies.
Or major institutions like unions, pensions and municipalities will move their money.
It's that simple.
