This June, New York State's rent regulation laws, which enable more than 2.5 million residents to live in safe and affordable homes, are set to expire. The loss of these protections would be socially and economically devastating to countless families and communities. However, simply renewing the laws in their current form is not enough. We must also fight to strengthen the laws by closing the loopholes that have led to the loss of hundreds of thousands of affordable homes over the last two decades. Join us as we fight to protect affordable housing and maintain healthy and stable New York City communities.
