Harboring Hearts Housing Foundation, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to providing a comprehensive resource and housing center for patients and caregivers being hospitalized for cardiac-related diseases in the New York City area.
There is a shortage of affordable housing in New York City, and any heart-related surgeries are extremely costly. Additional housing costs during hospitalization can be a tremendous burden, in addition to the emotional burdens patients and caregivers face as they navigate through this difficult time.
It is the goal of Harboring Hearts Housing to help ease these financial and emotional burdens. Harboring Hearts Housing's initial goal is to provide access to affordable, high-quality housing for heart transplant patients and their caregivers in cooperation with local investors. From there, we will expand our mission to develop an affordable full-scale housing and resource facility that will be open to all cardiac patients and their caregivers.
