THOSE DAMN RIGHT-WINGERS

Dear Lucas,

Here is what our candidates are up against: a steadfast right-winger committed to defeating EMILY's List's only pro-choice Democratic woman governor, a Tea Party darling with $10 million already in the bank, and a well-financed far-right Republican in a fast-approaching special election.

And we've got three days to give them an edge.

Bev Perdue, Elizabeth Warren, and Suzanne Bonamici need your help right now, before the clock strikes midnight on New Year's Eve and the deadline has passed.

Contribute right now to help these pro-choice Democratic women before the deadline is up. Remember, 100% of your gift will go directly to their campaigns.

Let me tell you more about these amazing women and what they are facing in 2012.

  • What if I told you we may have no Democratic women governors after the 2012 elections? North Carolina Governor Bev Perdue is one of only two Democratic women governors in the country, and the other is retiring. Bev is working overtime -- including vetoing legislation that would've defunded Planned Parenthood -- to stop Republicans from pursuing an extremist agenda. She is up against a well-funded Tea Party opponent, and state and national Republicans are targeting her with near-unlimited campaign cash. She made history as North Carolina's first woman governor, and now she is depending on us for help.
  • Karl Rove has already gone on the attack against Elizabeth Warren, but we know she can put up a fight! She's taken on the big banks, and now she's taking on Tea Party favorite Scott Brown. A recent poll showed Elizabeth pulling ahead for the first time -- and Wall Street is dumping cash into the race because of it. With your help, she'll keep fighting for consumers and working families as the next U.S. Senator from Massachusetts.
  • Suzanne Bonamici's special House election in Oregon is next month, so the clock is really ticking for her! Her opponent wants to privatize Medicare. He denies the existence of climate change and is vocally anti-choice. He's a Tea Partier through and through, and we have to do everything we can to keep another Koch brother-funded candidate out of Congress.

The deadline is almost here, so we need you to help these three great women show the strength of their campaigns. Please act now.

Click here to give now, before the December 31 deadline, and help our champions with a direct contribution to their campaigns!

Thank you for your help,
