After she fell down her building's stairwell, Nilda Rivera sued Bilynn Realty Corp., alleging that the company failed to maintain the steps in a reasonably safe condition.
Because Bilynn established that there was no stairwell related defect, and presented evidence which reinforced that the company was in compliance with all laws, both the New York County Supreme Court and the Appellate Division, First Department, thought dismissal of the case was warranted.
No Bilynn bling for her.
