Lucas - I just talked with Guy, and he gave me a quick update on the Emergency Media Campaign. So far, we've had a great response. We've raised $52,000 to fight back against Rove's ruthless attack on Elizabeth Warren, but we're still $48,000 short of the funding we must have by midnight Sunday. Can you help us get there?
We need to defend Elizabeth Warren, declaw Karl Rove and defeat Scott Brown. Can you give $5 or $10 right now? The stakes couldn't be higher.
If the Republicans beat Elizabeth and only a few others, they take the Senate. Then Boehner-Cantor run the House and Senate. Then they could end Medicare, slash unemployment insurance and repeal health care reform. I know - I see them in action. But we can stop them together. Thanks so much for your help.

CAMPAIGN ALERT - A new poll showed Elizabeth Warren up 7 points in Massachusetts, and Karl Rove has gone on the attack with a series of deceitful ads. His group, Crossroads GPS, just launched a sleazy $1.1 million ad campaign against Warren and three other Democratic candidates.
Protecting Warren's lead and defeating Scott Brown won't be cheap - and that's just one state. Ten of our races are now considered toss ups. If Republicans gain just four, they'll have total control of Congress.
The DSCC Emergency Media Campaign is in full swing and will make sure that none of Rove's lies goes unanswered. But we need an emergency round of funding before the end of the week.
Can you give $5 or $10 now to our Emergency Media Campaign? We need $100,000 by midnight Sunday to protect Warren and hold Rove and the rest of these right-wing sleaze merchants accountable.
Rove is trotting out his tried and true playbook here: Attack, attack, attack. He knows that if we don't fight back, it will work.
